Michael Alexander has extensive experience working alongside Indigenous tourism enterprises, Traditional Owners and remote communities throughout northern Australia.

As a Senior Savannah Guide, he has spent many years delivering and supporting authentic cultural tourism experiences across the Kimberley, Arnhem Land and Kakadu, helping international travellers gain a deeper understanding of Australia’s cultural landscapes, histories and living traditions.

Michael’s experience extends beyond guiding and includes mentoring and training guides on Country, supporting Indigenous-led tourism development and assisting tourism enterprises to build meaningful visitor experiences grounded in respect, authenticity and cultural connection.

His approach to cultural tourism focuses on creating genuine engagement between guests, place and people — combining thoughtful interpretation with a strong respect for Country, community and local knowledge.
